This is a unique beach in Nusa Penida, where in a middle of a cliff there is a circular hole and tunnels that penetrate directly to the sea.
The name of Broken beach came from local community fairytale that supposedly on the off shore there was a community called Banjar.
In the middle of Banjar, grew a big and haunted banyan tree. They cut the banyan tree down because they worried that the banyan tree might collapse. Since the banyan tree fell, the land around the tree broke down to the seabed that made large hole above the sea.
